Telangana Postal Circle Starts 24x7 Services in Major Post Offices

Telangana Postal Circle: Telangana Postal Circle has taken a key decision to make postal services more public-friendly in the state of Telangana.

24x7 postal services have been started at eight important post offices in Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts of the state. With this decision, people will have the opportunity to send services like speed post, parcels, and money orders/remittances at any time.The main objective behind this decision is to provide services to the people without any time constraints. Those who use postal services for jobs, businesses, and emergencies will now not face much hassle.

 Telangana Postal Circle : Which post offices have 24×7 services?

 The eight post offices that have started 24-hour services (Round-the-clock post offices) are:

 Vikarbad district: Alampalli sub-post office

• Rangareddy District: Kukatpally Sub-Post Office, Autonagar Parcel Processing Center (PPC), Shamshabad Hyderabad Airport Transit Mail Office (APTMO). 
• Hyderabad District: Hyderabad General Post Office (GPO), Speed ​​Post Center, Begumpet, Transit Mail Office (TMO), Secunderabad, Hyderabad Deccan RSTMO, Nampally.

 Now, these services are available round the clock, including Sundays and public holidays. According to a senior postal official, people can send speed post documents and parcels at any time of the day. 

Remittances will also now be available 24 hours a day (24x7 postal services). Similarly, it is learnt that the Postal Department has decided to expand 24-hour services in all districts across Telangana in a phased manner.

Timings increased in many post offices 

On the other hand, the business hours of 32 post offices in Hyderabad city have also been increased. Instead of the old timings, these post offices will now work from 9 am to 6 pm.

•  Post offices in the areas where the timings have been increased are: Secunderabad, Trimulgherry, Sainikpuri, Malkajgiri, Jama-e-Osmania, Khairatabad, S.R.Nagar, Sanathnagar, Manikonda, Golconda, Banjara Hills, Charminar, Uppal,
•  Vanasthalipuram, ECIL, Ghatkesar, Jeedimetla, Sangareddy, Shamshabad

These changes will improve postal services, especially in the city.

Officials said that it was made with the intention of being used by many people. It will be very useful for employees, students, and businessmen.
