Poore Desh me SIR -Election Commission voter mapping 2025

Election Commission voter mapping 2025

Election Commission (EC) ne poore desh me voter lists ki  Special Intensive Revision (SIR) ke liye apni taiyaariyon ko aur tez kar diya hai. Wednesday ko EC ke top officials ne meeting karke yeh dekha ke alag–alag states me  current voters ko purani voter lists ke saath map karne ka kaam kitna aage badh chuka hai.

Is process ka maqsad yeh hai ke har state ke election officers yeh jaan sakein ke  kitne voters aise hain jo pichhli SIR ke baad bhi abhi tak voter list me hain. Matlab, jo pehle se registered hain aur abhi bhi vote karne ke haqdar hain, unko dobara documents dene ki zarurat na pade.

Voters ko Documents Dene ki Zarurat Kam Hogi

Jaise Bihar me hua tha, wahan ke voters ko kisi bhi document ki zarurat nahi padi thi. Unhe sirf  semi-filled forms diye gaye the jisme unke basic details likhe hue the.
EC ka kehna hai ke agar  current voters ko pichhli SIR ke records se match kar liya jaye, to aadhe se zyada logon ko dobara documents dene ki need hi nahi padegi. Yeh kaafi bada relief hoga, khaaskar un logon ke liye jo rural areas me rehte hain.

Election Commission voter mapping 2025 : Officers ki Appointment

Commission ne apne statement me kaha ke unhone  District Election Officers,  Electoral Registration Officers,  Booth Level Officers (BLOs), aur  Booth Level Agents (BLAs) ki appointment aur training ka status bhi review kiya hai. Yeh agents mostly political parties ke nominee hote hain jo voter verification me madad karte hain.
EC ne yeh bhi confirm kiya ke yeh  do din ki meeting September ke baad dusri badi meeting  thi, jisme is poore exercise ke detailed steps decide kiye gaye.

CEC aur Commissioners ki Badi Meeting

Chief Election Commissioner  Gyanesh Kumar, Election Commissioners  S.S. Sandhu  aur  Vivek Joshi  ne sabhi states ke  Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) ke saath meeting ki.
Meeting ka main focus tha- SIR ke liye poori tayyaari aur phased rollout plan.

EC ke andar ek strong opinion hai ke SIR ko  phases me launch  kiya jaye — matlab sabse pehle un states me jahan  2026 me Assembly Elections hone wale hain, jaise Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu aur West Bengal.

Local Elections wale States ko Filhaal Chhoda Jayega

EC ne yeh bhi decide kiya hai ke jahan  local body elections (jaise Nagar Nigam, Panchayat elections) ho rahe hain, wahan filhaal voter list cleaning exercise nahi ki jayegi.
Reason yeh hai ke wahan ke election staff already local polls me busy hain, to wo SIR par focus nahi kar paayenge.

Bihar ne Pehle Hi Exercise Complete Kar Li

Bihar me yeh exercise pehle hi complete ho chuki hai. Wahan  final voter list 30 September  ko publish ki gayi thi, jisme  7.42 crore voters  ke naam the.
CEC ne October ke start me kaha tha ke poore desh me SIR launch karne ka kaam progress me hai, aur  final rollout date Election Commission decide karega.

Poore Bharat me SIR Launch Dates Tay Hona Baaqi

Bihar elections ke announcement ke dauran, CEC ne kaha tha ke  Pan-India SIR  officially 24 June ko announce ki gayi thi. Lekin abhi har state ke liye  specific launch dates decide karni baaki hain.
Unhone kaha ke EC ke teen commissioners milkar har state ke liye dates finalize karenge.
Officials ke mutabiq, pichhle mahine EC ne sabhi  State Chief Electoral Officers ko meeting me bola tha ke wo  10–15 din ke andar SIR rollout  ke liye ready rahein.
Iske liye  30 September ki deadline rakhi gayi thi taake poora voter list cleanup ho sake.

State Websites par Old Voter Lists Upload

CEOs ko kaha gaya hai ke wo apne states ki  voter lists upload karein  jo last SIR ke baad publish hui thi.Kai states ne yeh kaam kar bhi liya hai.
  • Delhi  ke CEO ki website par  2008 ki voter list available hai, jab wahan last intensive revision hui thi.
  •  Uttarakhand me last SIR  2006 me hui thi, aur us saal ki voter list website par upload hai.
Is tarah har state ke liye “last SIR year” ko  cut-off year  maana jaayega, jaise Bihar ke case me  2003 ki list cut-off bani thi.

2002–2004 ke Darmiyan Akhri SIR Hui Thi

Zyadatar states me last intensive voter list revision  2002 se 2004  ke beech me hui thi.
Ab inhi purani lists ke base par  current voters ko map  kiya ja raha hai taake duplicate, fake ya missing names ko identify kiya ja sake.
Ab tak adhiktar states aur Union Territories ne apne  current voters ko purani lists ke saath match karna lagbhag complete kar liya hai.

SIR ka Main Maqsad Kya Hai?

SIR ka sabse bada maqsad yeh hai ke  voter list se illegal foreign migrants  ko identify karke hata diya jaye.
Yeh log mostly border areas me bas gaye hain, khaaskar  Bangladesh aur Myanmar  se aaye migrants.
Election Commission yeh ensure karna chahta hai ke  sirf asli Indian citizens hi voter list me shamil rahein.
Is process me har voter ke   birth place aur address verification  par khaas dhyaan diya ja raha hai.

Illegal Migrants ke Khilaf Kadam

Kayi states me illegal migrants ke khilaf crackdown chal raha hai, aur isi wajah se voter list cleaning exercise kaafi important ho gayi hai.
SIR ke zariye, EC har voter ke data ko purane records se compare karega, taake fake IDs aur multiple registrations ka pata lagaya ja sake.
Officials ke kehne ke mutabiq, jab yeh mapping process poori ho jayegi, to desh me  voter list ki accuracy aur transparency dono badh jayengi.

Future Plan

EC ka plan hai ke jab pehla phase successfully complete ho jaaye, to baad me baaqi states me bhi SIR start kiya jaye.
Is se poore Bharat me ek   updated aur verified voter database  ready ho jayega.
Aane wale kuch mahino me EC sabhi states ke saath milkar  training sessions, awareness campaigns aur  technical updates karega, taake voter registration aur verification dono smooth ho.
